The OpenSceneGraph is an open source high performance 3D graphics toolkit, used by application developers in fields such as visual simulation, games, virtual reality, scientific visualization and modelling. Written entirely in Standard C++ and OpenGL it runs on all Windows platforms, OSX, GNU/Linux, IRIX, Solaris, HP-Ux, AIX and FreeBSD operating systems. The OpenSceneGraph is now well established as the world leading scene graph technology, used widely in the vis-sim, space, scientific, oil-gas, games and virtual reality industries.

| 22nd Febrary 2010 OpenSceneGraph-2.9.7 released | We've just tagged the latest developers release, key deliverables include a new extensible serialization scheme and associated native binary/ascii formats and performance improvements in paged databased. | 10th December 2009 OpenSceneGraph-2.9.6 released | The last six months we have been busy adding OpenGL ES 1.1, OpenGL ES 2.0, and OpenGL 3.0 to the OpenSceneGraph, which are now available in beta form with the latest 2.9.6 developer release. The 2.9.6 release also wraps up a range of other new features as well as lots of bugs fixes. Further details on the 2.9.6 can be found on the developer blog. |
